RABI – the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution – is a national charity that provides practical, financial and emotional support to farming people across England and Wales. With a proud history and an ambitious vision for the future, we’re evolving to meet the changing needs of the farming community. We’re now looking for a strategic, people-focused Director of Resources to join our senior leadership team at a pivotal moment in our development. As one of two Directors working alongside the Chief Executive, you\’ll play a vital role in shaping our future direction and ensuring operational excellence across finance, HR, IT, volunteering, and estates. About the Role This is a key senior leadership position offering both strategic influence and hands-on direction. You will: Provide strategic oversight across multiple functions, including Finance, IT, HR, Volunteering, and Operations. Financial Leadership: Provide financial leadership to support and influence decision making by the Senior Leadership Team and Council of Trustees. Drive transformation initiatives to improve systems, processes, and service delivery. Champion organisational culture and team development, nurturing senior leaders across your functions. Lead the development of our new volunteering strategy, creating a more cohesive, community-led model. Ensure robust governance, compliance, and financial sustainability. About You We’re looking for a values-led leader with broad cross-functional experience and strong financial and operational acumen. You’ll be a collaborative and emotionally intelligent senior professional, capable of inspiring confidence across teams and trustees alike.
