Job Description

Location: Suffolk (with hybrid flexibility – Can be remote if you have Donorflex experience)Contract: 3-month temporary role (with potential extension)Start Date: ASAP – ideally before 19th SeptemberSalary/Rate: Equivalent to c.£39,000 (pro rata) or hourly/day c£20 per hourWe’re supporting a well-known charity in Suffolk who are looking for an Interim Supporter Care & Data Manager to step in and keep things moving while they recruit a permanent hire. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your database and fundraising knowledge into a values-driven organisation and make an immediate impact.What you’ll be doing:
  • Acting as the bridge between the fundraising, finance, and supporter care teams.
  • Managing donor data and processes in Donorflex (experience with Donorflex is ideal, but knowledge of other fundraising CRMs such as Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce, or ThankQ would also be considered).
  • Setting up and maintaining new data streams to support appeals and campaigns.
  • Running checks on data for accuracy and compliance – ensuring GDPR and governance requirements are met.
  • Pulling supporter and donation data for reporting and analytics, feeding into both fundraising and financial reporting.
  • Supporting a small Supporter Care team day-to-day – keeping processes steady, answering queries, and ensuring donations and communications are processed smoothly.
  • Acting as a key contact for the fundraising team, checking briefs and helping them prepare for upcoming campaigns.

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong background in database management within a charity/fundraising environment.
  • Ability to set up data streams, pull and clean data, and run compliance checks.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and data protection, especially in relation to supporter/donor data.
  • Confident communicator, able to work with fundraising managers and finance teams.
  • Someone happy to be “hands-on” and keep the ship steady during a period of change.
  • Experience with Donorflex would be a big plus, but other charity CRMs will be considered.

The details:

  • Immediate start (ASAP).
  • 3-month interim cover (with possibility to extend).
  • Full-time preferred, but part-time (3–4 days/week) will also be considered.
  • Hybrid working with some presence in Suffolk required. Would consider remote for the right person.
