This is not a traditional payroll operations role.

Instead, you will act as a subject matter expert and change leader, driving process improvements, system enhancements, and transformation initiatives within the payroll function.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders to design scalable, efficient, and future-ready payroll solutions.

Key Responsibilities Lead the design and implementation of best-in-class payroll processes Drive continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on efficiency, scalability, and automation Identify opportunities to enhance payroll through technology, including AI and digital tools Deliver end-to-end change initiatives within payroll environments Implement new processes, systems, and integrations to improve operational effectiveness Analyse current workflows and redesign for optimal performance Support and lead strategic payroll projects, including system implementations and transitions Contribute to organisational change initiatives impacting payroll Provide insight and recommendations to support long-term payroll strategy Partner with HR, Finance, and wider business stakeholders to align payroll processes with business needs About You Proven background in payroll within a complex organisation Strong experience delivering process improvement and change initiatives within payroll functions Demonstrable experience implementing new ways of working and driving transformation Strategic mindset with the ability to operate at both operational and leadership levels Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Strong analytical capability with attention to detail Ready to make a lasting impact on how payroll operates at scale?
