Are you a skilled CNC Machinist ready for your next challenge?We are proud to be recruiting for an established manufacturing company with decades of manufacturing excellence. In this role, you'll be the technical expert who ensures their world-class manufacturing facility operates at peak performance. You’ll be working with cutting-edge large-scale CNC machining and robotic welding equipment.Key Responsibilities
- Set and operate horizontal and vertical CNC turning machinery.
- Manufacture high-specification components to exacting tolerances for demanding applications.
- Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Uphold exceptional standards of precision, quality, and cleanliness throughout all work.
- Perform routine maintenance and support efficient machine utilisation.
- Collaborate effectively within the team to meet production targets in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience operating CNC turning machines within a high-precision manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in working to tight tolerances across a variety of materials.
- Experience with Fanuc programming
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a quality-driven approach.
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Solid mechanical knowledge, including use of hand tools and understanding of machining processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to consistently producing high-quality work.
- Knowledge of 5S and lean manufacturing principles
