An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Advisor to join a fast-paced and well-established organisation based near Rayleigh. This is a varied role, supporting managers across the business with a wide range of people matters and contributing to the delivery of a high-performing, engaged workforce.
Working closely with the wider HR team, you will play a key role in delivering high quality HR support and solutions. You’ll provide advice to line managers, support employee relations processes, and contribute to driving improvement and engagement across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a first point of contact for HR queries, providing guidance to employees, managers, and HR colleagues
- Advise line managers on various HR topics, as well as delivering training and coaching
- Support and manage a range of employee relations cases including absence, disciplinary, grievance, and performance matters
- Review and update HR policies in line with current legislation and best practice
- Prepare and manage HR documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Contribute to onboarding processes and the delivery of HR metrics and reporting
- Support employee engagement activities, as well as supporting with reward processes
- Assist with recruitment, including pre-screening and coordination
- Assist with payroll activities where required
- Support office and facilities coordination and workplace H&S compliance
About You:
- Proven experience in an HR Advisor or comparable HR role
- Strong experience managing employee relations cases in whole
- Good understanding of up to date UK employment law
- Confident using HR systems and data as well as Microsoft Office packages
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to think ahead and work strategically
- CIPD qualified or equivalent work experience
- Ability to influence and support managers effectively
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently and as part of a team
