About the Role
You will be the first point of contact on reception while also overseeing the day-to-day monitoring and administration of student attendance. This is a varied and fast-paced position that also provides wider administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team and assists in coordinating daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the reception area, acting as the first point of contact for visitors, handling calls, and ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed.
- Coordinate daily staff cover, record absences, and act as the main contact for staff reporting sickness.
- Monitor and update student attendance records, produce attendance reports, and support follow-up actions such as detentions or pastoral communication.
- Order supplies, process receipts, and assist with tracking expenditure in line with finance processes.
- Provide general administrative support to senior staff, including preparing documents, certificates, and supporting meetings or events.
- Assist with planning and delivering college events and organising student voice activities.
- Support sustainability initiatives and promote environmentally responsible practices across the organisation.
About You
- You must have an enhanced transferable DBS.
- You must be available immediately.
- Strong administrative background with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail.
- Confident communicator able to work with students, staff and visitors.
