Key Responsibilities
- Lead and evolve the IT function across infrastructure, service delivery, cyber security, and end-user technology.
- Define and deliver a cloud-first strategy, driving ongoing migration, optimisation, and governance within Microsoft Azure.
- Transform IT into a modern, scalable service through automation, self-service, and improved user experience.
- Own IT operations, ensuring high availability, performance, and continuous service improvement.
- Act as a senior partner to the business, aligning technology initiatives with organisational objectives.
- Oversee cyber security, including controls, risk management, and incident readiness.
- Manage third-party suppliers, budgets, and governance frameworks.
- Contribute to broader digital and technology strategy alongside senior leadership.
Experience Required
- Proven experience in a Head of IT / IT Director / senior IT leadership role.
- Strong Azure and cloud platform expertise, including delivering migrations and operating in cloud-first environments.
- Demonstrable track record of leading cloud transformation and modernisation programmes.
- Experience running IT operations (infrastructure, service desk, end-user services) in a multi-site environment.
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem (M365, Entra ID/Azure AD, Intune, security tools).
- Experience owning or contributing to cyber security strategy, controls, and operations.
- Comfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on levels.
- Strong supplier, stakeholder, and budget management experience.
