I am currently recruiting a Global Accounts Receivable Manager for our client based in Cambridge. This is a key hire for the business, and you will be responsible for leading and developing a growing accounts receivable team globally, currently with annual collections of >£100m.
Responsibilities
- Manage the global AR team, supporting the US and EMEA regions. The main function will be to ensure the efficient billing, cash collection and timely payment of invoices, playing a key role in managing working capital requirements and ensuring the business has sufficient cash balances to meet obligations as they fall due.
- Standardising processes and practices globally and establish working relationships with key functions to drive increased cash collection.
- Maintain and monitor KPIs to ensure cash collection targets are created and subsequently met.
- Comply with customer billing requirements and look to operate standardised processes in the financial system, managing the interactions with the operational systems and pricing and costing teams as required.
- Assist the management and review of efficient financial processes in the order to cash cycle, interacting and as key financial contact for commercial, operational and procurement teams.
- Effectively manage financial risks – credit, foreign exchange and master data and be a key contact for audits as they arise.
Qualifications
You will be ICM qualified or equivalent qualification, be able to demonstrate experience in a senior AR leadership role with international scope and show strong leadership examples of how you have managed a global team.
