Assistant Management Accountant

Working with a hugely successful and progressive business, this role willwork alongside a great team of people.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role will involve the following tasks:
- Cash Flow Management: Prepare and deliver accurate weekly cash flow models
- Financial Statements: Collaborate with the Management Accountant to produce monthly financial statements, including generating reports and completing balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare journals including prepayments, accruals, fixed asset depreciation, and foreign exchange revaluations, ensuring accuracy and minimising reconciliation discrepancies
- Audit Preparation: Ensure audit readiness by maintaining detailed supporting documentation for all postings, contributing to a successful year-end audit
- Produce weekly revenue reports
- Assist with VAT processes
- Bank Reconciliations
- Cost Analysis
About You:
- Previous experience in an accounting/finance support role (part-qualified or studying towards AAT/ACCA/CIMA desirable).
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
- Proficient in Excel and financial systems, with the ability to analyse and interpret data.
