I’m currently working on an opportunity for an AI Engineer to join a fast-growing team building advanced AI-driven products in a highly regulated, high-impact industry. This is a role for someone who enjoys turning ideas into real, usable systems. You’ll be involved from early concept stages through to production, working on solutions that are actively used by leading global organisations.
The role
- You’ll be responsible for designing, building and deploying AI-powered features that solve real-world problems.
- This isn’t purely research or experimentation; the focus is on delivering scalable, production-ready systems that add measurable value.
- You’ll work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders, helping shape solutions and continuously improving what’s already in place.
What you’ll be doing:
- Building and deploying AI-driven features from concept through to production.
- Designing systems that make effective use of large language models and modern AI techniques.
- Rapidly prototyping new ideas, testing them, and pushing what works into production.
- Developing robust, scalable architectures rather than short-term solutions.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure what’s being built aligns with real user needs.
- Continuously iterating based on feedback and performance data.
What they’re looking for:
- Strong experience working with modern AI technologies, particularly LLMs.
- Background in building and shipping production-grade applications.
- Solid coding skills (Python and/or similar), with experience working across APIs and data pipelines.
- Someone who can take ownership and work through ambiguity without needing everything fully defined.
- A practical mindset – focused on delivering outcomes, not just ideas.
- A genuine interest in staying close to new developments in AI.
Tech environment
You’ll likely have experience across a mix of Python, cloud infrastructure (AWS or similar), APIs, front-end frameworks, and data pipelines. Exposure to evaluation frameworks, agent-based systems, or similar approaches is a strong advantage.
Why this role stands out
- Opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI with real-world impact.
- High level of ownership and autonomy.
- Fast-moving environment with plenty of scope to shape what’s built.
- Fully remote within the UK.
- Strong growth potential as the team continues to scale.
