We are working on behalf of a high-growth, UK-based FMCG distribution and brand management business to appoint a commercially driven Product Account Manager. This organisation operates across B2B channels, partnering with global manufacturers to deliver both branded and private label products into a wide network.
This is a strategic and hands-on position responsible for owning and developing a diverse consumer product portfolio. You will drive sales growth, margin performance, and successful new product development across multiple categories. You’ll act as a key link between suppliers, internal commercial teams, and external partners, ensuring products are optimised for performance across all channels.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and develop an existing FMCG product portfolio, identifying opportunities for growth and optimisation
- Conduct range reviews, competitor benchmarking, and market analysis to inform commercial decisions
- Lead new product development (NPD) from concept to launch, including packaging, positioning, and forecasting
- Collaborate with marketing partners to deliver trade and consumer marketing campaigns
- Negotiate with suppliers and brand partners to secure favourable pricing, investment, and terms
- Support wider commercial teams with product insights, pricing, and presentations
- Ensure strong cross-functional alignment with sales, supply chain, and customer service teams
- Proven experience in Account Management or Business Development within FMCG
- Strong commercial acumen with a clear understanding of margin, pricing, and retail dynamics
- Experience working within a multi-channel distribution or B2B environment
- Highly analytical, with strong Excel and presentation skills
