Join a leading education organisation based in Suffolk as a 1st / 2nd Line Support Technician. This role involves providing top-tier IT support to schools across North Suffolk, ensuring seamless technology operations and contributing to a thriving educational environment.
A company vehicle is provided due to the travel required – a full UK driving licence is essential.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond to, resolve, and escalate tickets via the central ICT Helpdesk system.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues both remotely and in person.
- Configure and install workstations and perform regular maintenance checks.
- Maintain and adjust in-class audio/visual equipment.
- Support printers and photocopiers, liaising with third-party support companies.
- Replace and reorder hardware and consumables as needed.
- Handle day-to-day user requests for password changes and account resets.
- Experience with IT systems, including Microsoft Windows 11, Office, Windows Server, and network environments.
- Proficient in software and hardware installation.
- Prior experience in an education environment is preferred.
