Pure are delighted to be working exclusively with a well established organisation based in Chelmsford who are looking for a Transport Manager to join their team. Main Duties: Vehicles are loaded safety Route Optimisation Keeping records such as drivers hours, tacograph and PMI Inspections Maintaining current and new accreditations such as FORS. Measure, manage and communicate KPIs, metrics and report exceptions. Provide day-to-day support during the rollout/implementation of newer systems/processes. Health and Safety Day-to-day, you will deal with all driver-related issues ensuring that all transport legislation is always adhered to ensuring fleet and driver compliance through active monitoring and reporting. Route planning for drivers; scheduling, monitoring & regulatory compliance, problem solving, checking documentation Maintenance of vehicles To liaise with Depot Management and others in the transport team on a daily basis with regards to transport issues. Key Requirements: Must have 3 years+ Transport Management experience Must have International CPC Health & Safety IOSH preferred A background operating at a management level is a must A passion for encouraging teamwork Ability to influence a team of drivers Excellent team management skill for developing you team Flexibility to cover a variety of shift patterns when needed
