I am delighted to be exclusively partnering with a growing accountancy practice based North Cambridge in order to find them a Trainee Financial Accountant. This role has become available due to a departure within the team, and within this role, you will report into the Finance Director. This role would be suitable for either someone with some basic accounting knowledge, or someone who has worked within industry but wants to work in a practice focused role. Within the role, there are a number of key responsibilities that you will be tasked with, including: – Preparation and submission of financial statements – Corporation tax returns – Self Assessment tax returns – Processing P11d's – Additional duties as required The successful candidate for this position will ideally possess the following set of skills and attributes: – AAT qualified or part qualified or possess equivalent experience – Tax or practice experience would be considered advantageous for this role – Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport both internally and externally – Good system skills, and experience using Xero would be considered advantageous – Ability to prioritise workload efficiently and effectively This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a new challenge in their career.
