Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Project Engineer to lead and deliver electrical engineering projects from concept through to completion. You will be responsible for supporting the design, installation, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems and upgrades, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high technical and safety standards. These projects vary from a wide range of large complex heavy industrial settings but you will join a team of experienced and well-qualified experts. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, project management capability, and stakeholder coordination within a manufacturing/industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Delivery
    • Support electrical projects from initial concept, design, and planning through to implementation and handover
    • Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements
    • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Electrical Engineering
    • Support design and specify electrical systems including power distribution, control panels, and automation systems
    • Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment
    • Provide technical support on PLCs, drives, motors, and instrumentation
    • Review and approve electrical drawings, schematics
