Pure are supporting an established engineering company with the recruitment of a Management Accountant, this role is based in their head office in Ely. Reporting into the Finance Director you will be the number 2 in finance and will take responsibility for a variety of tasks, the finance team is made up of 4 people.
The key duties are as follows:
- Monthly management accounts - including reconciliation of control accounts, accruals and prepayments
- Monthly reporting of results and variances, providing feedback to budget holders
- Stock valuation
- Processing and reconciliation of VAT returns
- Providing cover for purchase and sales ledger
- Bank reconciliations
- Audit support
You will need to have previous experience working in engineering or manufacturing and be confident taking on the above mentioned tasks.
