The Opportunity
An established and growing Suffolk-based business is looking for a proactive Management Accountant to join their finance team on a fixed-term contract until April.
This is a varied role that combines core financial reporting with commercial partnering, giving you the opportunity to influence decision-making, improve business performance and contribute to ongoing finance transformation initiatives.
Working closely with the Finance Director and wider management team, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial information while identifying opportunities to improve processes and reporting across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce monthly management accounts and supporting analysis
- Deliver weekly and monthly financial reporting to senior stakeholders
- Manage balance sheet reconciliations and maintain strong controls
- Support budgeting, forecasting and cashflow planning
- Develop KPI reporting and provide commercial insight
- Partner with operational teams to improve business performance
- Identify and implement process and systems improvements
- Assist with year-end audit requirements and compliance activities
About You
You’ll ideally have:
- AAT qualification, Part-Qualified ACCA/CIMA, or be Qualified by Experience
- Proven management accounts experience
- Strong Excel and finance systems knowledge
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- A hands-on approach with a focus on continuous improvement
- The confidence to engage with stakeholders across the business
Experience with finance transformation, system implementation, or process improvement projects would be advantageous.
