We are supporting a leading food processor that is continuing to invest in its engineering function. As part of a planned replacement, the business is now seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their established team on a 5 on / 5 off rotating shift pattern (days and nights).

About the Role

As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the plant. You will help drive improvements in performance, reliability, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), while supporting a culture of proactive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance to support improved OEE
  • Minimise engineering downtime to enable the production team to achieve 100% plan compliance
  • Deliver all engineering work safely, efficiently and to a high standard
  • Support the wider engineering strategy focused on moving from reactive to preventative maintenance
  • Use continuous improvement techniques to enhance plant performance and efficiency
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment
  • Ensure all tools remain in good, serviceable condition
  • Complete job reports/tickets at the end of each shift

About You

Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification. 3 years plus experience in a FMCG environment is desirable. Engagement in developing and maintaining a world class engineering department.
