The role:
- Chase payments via email, letter and telephone
- Communicate professionally with clients to secure outstanding payments
- Check statements for accuracy
- Maintain the internal systems with communications
- Respond to all incoming queries, both externally and internally
- Maintain and monitor the system to ensure all instalment payments are received on time and chase defaulters if necessary
- Assist in the completion of the monthly Aged Debt Reports
- Set credit limits
- Produce letters before actions for unpaid invoices where required
- Prepare court claim forms where required
Skills required:
- Established credit control experience
- Understanding of relevant financial regulations, data protection, and company policies
- Strong attention to detail
