Metal Finisher

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and respected machine shop. They\’re seeking a dedicated Metal Finisher to join its growing production team in Cambridgeshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a world-class facility producing mission-critical, high-integrity products for long-term contracts. Key Responsibilities: Carry out final processes on high-integrity stainless steel products, including grouting, laser marking, weld cleaning, and ink stencilling Fit seals, filters, and perform shrink-fitting operations using liquid nitrogen Conduct load testing to verify structural integrity Collaborate with internal teams and third-party inspectors to complete quality documentation Pack and wrap finished products according to specifications Support process improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and safety Maintain accurate production records and perform basic equipment maintenance Ensure adherence to safety procedures and contribute to a clean, organised work environment using the 5S methodology About You Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment Strong attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset Confident working with tools and technical equipment Excellent communication and teamwork skills Committed to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and continuous improvement What\’s In It For You?
