Pure are delighted to be partnering with a well-established, successful business in Lowestoft to recruit a Transactional Finance Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to lead transactional finance operations, drive process improvements, and play a key role in supporting the organisation's financial performance.

Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will take ownership of the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions and their teams, ensuring the delivery of an efficient, accurate, and customer-focused service whilst maintaining robust financial controls.

The Opportunity This is a visible role that combines operational leadership with continuous improvement initiatives.

You will work closely with both UK-based stakeholders and an international Shared Service Centre, ensuring strong service delivery, effective cash flow management, and the ongoing development of transactional finance processes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams, setting clear objectives and ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Oversee credit control activities, driving effective debt collection and customer credit risk management.

Ensure the timely and accurate processing of customer invoicing, credit notes, supplier payments, and cashiering activities.

Manage cash allocation, bank reconciliations, and supplier account reconciliations.

Monitor aged debtors and creditors, taking proactive action to optimise working capital performance.

Act as a finance contact for the international Shared Service Centre.

Develop and report on operational performance metrics across transactional finance activities.

Drive process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and controls.

Support month-end, year-end, audit, forecasting, and business planning activities.

Contribute to effective governance, risk management, and internal control frameworks.

About You We are seeking an experienced finance leader with a strong background in transactional finance operations. You'll ideally possess:

Proven experience managing transactional finance processes.

Previous leadership experience with responsibility for developing and motivating finance teams.

Experience operating within a fast-paced and dynamic finance environment.

Strong Excel skills and the ability to analyse financial and operational data.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience working with a Shared Service Centre model would be advantageous
