Due to continued expansion, our Essex based client is seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to take full ownership of our transactional finance operations and lead a small, high performing team. As the Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day transactional accounting function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all financial processes. This is a hands-on leadership position, ideal for someone with construction sector experience and the confidence to manage a busy finance environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a small finance team, providing support, training, and performance management.
- Oversee all transactional accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
