IT & Business Systems Manager Suffolk | Multi-site Role £55,000 - £60,000 We're supporting a growing and ambitious manufacturing group as they invest in technology, systems and operational capability to support the next phase of business growth. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to take ownership of a varied technology and business systems estate, helping shape the roadmap, improve processes and ensure technology is aligned to the needs of a fast-evolving business. This role could suit an experienced IT & Business Systems Manager looking for broader responsibility, or an ambitious technology leader ready to step into their first #1 role and make a genuine impact. Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver the technology and business systems roadmap. Lead and improve core IT and business systems across multiple sites. Drive system optimisation, process improvement and operational efficiency. Manage and develop relationships with outsourced IT partners, ensuring strong service delivery, accountability and value for money. Define and refine responsibilities between internal teams and third-party technology providers. Own cyber security strategy, governance and risk management. Partner with senior stakeholders to align technology initiatives with business objectives. Provide leadership to a small internal team whilst coordinating external support partners. Identify opportunities to simplify systems, reduce manual processes and improve the flow of information across the business. Establish supplier governance, service standards and performance measures. About You Experience leading IT, business systems or technology functions. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels. Exposure to ERP, operational systems or business-critical applications. Experience managing suppliers, MSPs and third-party technology providers. Commercially minded, with the ability to balance risk, cost and business priorities. Comfortable operating in a hands-on environment whilst providing strategic direction.
