Pure are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Accounts Assistant to join a friendly and supportive finance team based on the outskirts of Ipswich. This is a varied, hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, supporting colleagues, and being involved in a wide range of transactional accounting responsibilities.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing accounts payable processes, ensuring accurate and timely invoice processing
- Supplier portal and supplier statement reconciliations
- Reconciling accounts and preparing financial reports
- Assisting credit control with chasing aged debt
- Payroll processing, company pensions and VAT returns
- Supporting month-end and year-end close processes
- Providing support and mentoring to other members of the finance team
We’re looking for a proactive and adaptable team player who is happy to roll up their sleeves and get involved. You will ideally have:
- Strong experience across accounts payable and receivable
- Previous experience using accounting software
- Excellent attention to detail and data entry skills
