My client is currently seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Cambridge on a 6–9 month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to make an impact in a fast-paced environment during an exciting period of change and growth. Location: Cambridge (on site) Start: ASAP About the Role: As the HR Generalist, you’ll provide hands-on, on site support to around 200 employees, covering the full employee life cycle. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring HR policies and processes are up to date and aligned with legislation and global standards, while also managing key HR initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Review and update HR policies in line with UK legislation and global frameworks (post-acquisition alignment) Advise and support managers on employee relations, performance, and absence management Manage sickness absence cases and maintain accurate HR documentation Support HR projects, process improvements, and compliance initiatives Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure a consistent and supportive HR serviceAbout You: Proven experience in a generalist HR role (ideally within a dynamic or technical environment) Confident advising on HR policies and employee relations issues Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work autonomously and provide practical, solutions-focused support If you’re an experienced HR professional looking for a meaningful fixed-term opportunity where you can truly make a difference, I’d love to hear from you.
