My client is seeking a proactive HR Manager (part-time) to support their HR function during a period of transition. The role involves strengthening HR processes, embedding a new HR system and supporting HR administrators. Temporary – 4 Months, (Potential to Extend). Hybrid – Primarily Remote (1 day on-site per week). Hours: 25-30 per week, part-time. Salary: £20.50 per hour. Sector: Charity / Education preferred.
Key Responsibilities- Support HR administrators with HR processes
- Verify and quality-check HR data
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and induction
- Update HR policies and ensure compliance
- Establish HR audit procedures (safer recruitment, equality, absence management, training)
- Support pay and contract reviews
- Provide generalist HR advice and manage ER cases
- Experienced HR generalist at HR Manager level
- Hands-on, collaborative, and happy to coach HR administrators
- Strong knowledge of HR processes, governance, and compliance
- Charity or education sector experience advantageous
