We're working with a leading industrial manufacturer to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor who will help drive a strong safety culture and continuous improvement across multiple UK sites.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking company committed to creating a safe and environmentally responsible workplace. As the Health and Safety Advisor, you’ll work closely with site management and the SHEQ Manager to embed EHS best practices into daily operations, support compliance with ISO standards, and lead initiatives that promote a proactive safety culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support EHS strategy and implementation across UK manufacturing sites.
- Carry out internal audits and ensure compliance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
- Conduct risk assessments, safety audits and incident investigations.
- Deliver engaging health and safety training to employees at all levels.
- Monitor and report on EHS performance data, ensuring corrective and preventative actions are followed through.
- Act as the first point of contact for all health and safety matters across the business.
Requirements for the Role:
- Experience in a health and safety role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- NEBOSH or IOSH qualification (or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of ISO management systems and UK health & safety regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to promote a positive, safety-first culture.
- Willingness to travel to various sites across the UK.

This is a full time permanent position and once embedded in to the role a hybrid working pattern is offered. Travel is expected to multiple sites including Chesterfield, Creswell, Eggborough, Hadleigh and Witham. A company car is included in the package offered.
