Finance and Operations Assistant in Girton

We are delighted to be partnering with Gretton Court as they seek to recruit a Finance and Operations Assistant to join their team. This role is a newly created position that has become available due to bringing the accounts in house, and within this role, you will report into the General Manager. This role is for 2 days a week, based on site in Girton.  As the incoming Finance and Operations Assistant, you will lead on the day to day accounting and be tasked with the following duties, including but not limited to: Process invoices, payments, and account reconciliations. Maintain accurate financial records and accounting data. Support payroll administration and reporting. Assist with monthly financial reporting and budgets. Prepare documentation for audits and year-end processes. Support procurement, supplier management, and operational activities.As the successful candidate for this position, you will have previous experience working in accounting role, with strong knowledge of accounting processes and procedures. You will be comfortable using accounting packages such as Xero and Quickbooks. Given the nature of this role, you will need to be comfortable taking ownership for a number of responsibilities as well as being a team player and be adaptable and accurate in your working approach.  This role is an amazing opportunity to work for an organisation where your work will have a direct impact.
