The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Pure are delighted to be working in partnership with the University of Cambridge as they undertake a multi-year transformation programme. This has led to a new opportunity for a Finance Coordinator role for an initial 2-year period. This role will be based in the School of the Humanities and Social Sciences, which is located at Mill Lane in Cambridge.

The purpose of the role will be to provide high-level accountancy advice across your allocated area to contribute towards the planning and management of departmental finances. Duties of the role will involve:

  • Preparation of management accounts information
  • Identifying process improvements
  • Management of research grants
  • Preparation of financial statements
  • Assisting senior management with budgeting

As the successful applicant, you will have previous experience working in a similar level finance position. You will have excellent knowledge of financial processes and procedures, good knowledge of accounts systems, and strong organisation skills. Proficiency in Excel would also be considered advantageous.
