An established and growing logistics business is seeking a Management Accountant to join its finance team at its Felixstowe site. This position would suit a commercially minded accountant who is comfortable working onsite, building strong relationships with non-finance stakeholders, and producing clear, actionable financial insight.
Responsibilities:
- Producing monthly management accounts, including P&L and balance sheet reporting
- Delivering variance analysis, commentary and performance insights
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cashflow planning
- Partnering with operational and commercial teams to support decision-making
- Analysing costs and margins within a fast-moving environment
- Assisting with year-end processes and external reporting requirements
Skills & qualifications:
- Part-qualified or qualified (CIMA / ACCA / ACA), or qualified by experience
- Proven experience in a management accounting role
- Comfortable working in an onsite, operational setting
- Strong Excel skills and high attention to detail
- Experience in logistics, transport or a similar operational sector would be beneficial but not essential
The role is based onsite in Felixstowe, five days per week, with some flexibility available.
