We are seeking an experienced CNC Miller to join our growing manufacturing team. Working within a fast-paced innovative, precision engineering environment, you will be responsible for setting, operating, and running 4-axis CNC milling machines to produce high-quality components for the Automotive/Aerospace/Defence/Motorsport Industries. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist who takes pride in producing precision parts and maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Set, operate, monitor 4-axis CNC milling machines.
- Manufacture precision automotive components to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Perform machine set-ups, tool changes, and offset adjustments.
- Produce first-off inspections and ensure components meet quality standards.
- Conduct in-process quality checks using measuring equipment including micrometers, verniers, and CMM reports where required.
- Optimise machine performance and cycle times.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and identify process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC Miller within a precision engineering environment.
