Are you a commercially minded analyst looking to make a real impact? Our client has created a new opportunity for a Commercial Finance Analyst. Working closely with the Head of Commercial Finance, you will provide insight across customer, category, and product levels, delivering analysis that identifies efficiencies, supports profitability improvements, and highlights cost-saving opportunities.
You will partner with sales, operations, and finance teams to provide meaningful insights that inform better decision-making across the business. You will also support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning models, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data across multiple systems and sources.
In addition to regular reporting, you will assist with ad hoc analysis, project work, and commercial deep dives as required. A key part of the role involves monitoring and analysing monthly commercial data to identify trends and opportunities that drive continuous improvement.
- Deliver accurate and timely reporting (daily, weekly, and monthly) to inform finance and wider stakeholders.
- Develop dashboards and reports to improve visibility of business performance in Excel and Power BI.
- Provide critical analysis to drive efficiencies, improve profitability, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain data integrity, ensuring accuracy and consistency across multiple systems and sources.
The successful candidate will be studying towards a finance qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA). Advanced Excel skills are required, and experience with Microsoft BC and Power BI report creation would be highly beneficial. Strong analytical capability and exceptional attention to detail is essential, as is the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
