Commercial Manager

Commercial Manager   We're excited to be working with a growing engineering and technology business who are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead commercial performance across a portfolio of projects and bids. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys influencing outcomes, managing complexity, and shaping commercial strategy within a fast‑moving organisation.   The Role You’ll take ownership of commercial and contractual management across multiple programmes, providing insight, challenge, and assurance on commercial, financial, and risk matters.   Key responsibilities include: Leading commercial management of projects and bids Supporting commercial strategy and translating it into project‑level actions Leading negotiations, including contractual changes and variations Managing commercial risk and opportunity Overseeing pricing, margin protection, and payment structures Drafting a range of commercial agreements (NDAs, MoUs, supplier agreements, collaboration agreements, service contracts, etc.) Working with Supply Chain to develop and negotiate sub‑contracts Managing due diligence on customers and partners Improving commercial processes and performance metrics  About You You’ll be a commercially astute professional with strong communication and influencing skills, comfortable working across multiple stakeholders and projects.   Experience & skills: 5+ years’ commercial or contract management experience End‑to‑end contract lifecycle management and negotiation Strong understanding of contract law Experience resolving disputes and claims Programme‑level risk, pricing, and margin management Ability to draft and negotiate complex agreements  Personal attributes: Pragmatic and commercially aware Confident influencer Strong process oversight and organisational skills Able to work within strict time and quality frameworks    This is a rapidly expanding business offering excellent potential for career development, alongside a competitive remuneration package.
