An established organisation is seeking an experienced HR Director to provide strategic and operational leadership during a critical three-month period. Reporting to the Executive Leadership Team, the successful candidate will lead the people agenda, drive organisational effectiveness, and ensure the delivery of high-quality HR services across the business.
The Role
- Provide strategic HR leadership and guidance to senior stakeholders.
- Lead and manage the HR function, ensuring effective delivery across all people-related activities.
- Support organisational change, transformation, and workforce planning initiatives.
- Oversee employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and best practice.
- Drive talent management, succession planning, and leadership development activities.
- Review and enhance HR policies, procedures, and frameworks where required.
- Partner with business leaders to align people strategies with organisational objectives.
- Ensure a positive employee experience while maintaining a high-performance culture.
The Candidate
The organisation is looking for a proven HR leader who can quickly establish credibility and deliver impact from day one. The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Extensive experience operating at HR Director or senior HR leadership level.
- Chartered CIPD qualification or equivalent professional accreditation.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Experience leading complex employee relations and organisational change programmes.
- Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach with the ability to work at both strategic and operational levels.
