We are seeking skilled and motivated Electronics Engineers to join our growing team, supporting the service, maintenance, and repair of electronic systems across a range of environments including High Voltage, Marine, Defence, and Medical Industry environments.
This role offers flexibility with both site-based positions and field service opportunities, providing variety and the chance to work on cutting-edge equipment in real-world operational settings. Whether you prefer working at a fixed location or travelling to different client sites, we have opportunities to match your experience and career goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain electronic systems and equipment.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive fault-finding.
- Install and commission electronic systems where required.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with safety, quality, and compliance standards.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring faults and recommending solutions.
Field Service (where applicable)
- Attend client sites to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Manage service calls efficiently to meet SLAs and customer expectations.
- Provide excellent customer service and technical support on-site.
Site-Based (UK wide where applicable)
- Support on-site maintenance operations within a structured engineering environment.
- Work closely with wider engineering and operations teams.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Experience in electronics service, maintenance, or repair.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams and technical documentation.
- Good understanding of electronic components and systems.
- Full UK driving licence (for field-based roles).
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Desirable
- HNC/HND or Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
- Experience working in regulated or secure environments (e.g. FM, defence, rail, healthcare).
- Knowledge of PLCs, control systems, or communication systems.
- Previous field service experience.
