Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on automated and semi‑automated production machinery.
- Diagnose faults across electrical and mechanical systems using schematics, PLC interfaces and diagnostic tools.
- Support continuous improvement projects, equipment upgrades and refurbishment activities.
- Ensure full compliance with BRC, 6S, and site health & safety standards.
- Accurately document maintenance tasks and provide technical updates to engineering leadership.
- Contribute to root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action implementation.
What We're Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 qualification in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical), or equivalent.
- Proven background in maintenance engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong capability in one core discipline with working knowledge of the other.
- Understanding of control systems, drives, actuators, sensors, automation and related technologies.
- A proactive mindset, strong problem‑solving skills, and a commitment to working safely.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
