Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on automated and semi‑automated production machinery.
  • Diagnose faults across electrical and mechanical systems using schematics, PLC interfaces and diagnostic tools.
  • Support continuous improvement projects, equipment upgrades and refurbishment activities.
  • Ensure full compliance with BRC, 6S, and site health & safety standards.
  • Accurately document maintenance tasks and provide technical updates to engineering leadership.
  • Contribute to root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action implementation.

What We're Looking For

  • NVQ Level 3 qualification in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical), or equivalent.
  • Proven background in maintenance engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong capability in one core discipline with working knowledge of the other.
  • Understanding of control systems, drives, actuators, sensors, automation and related technologies.
  • A proactive mindset, strong problem‑solving skills, and a commitment to working safely.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
