I’m currently working with a growing and highly regarded accountancy firm looking to appoint an Audit & Accounts Manager. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants more than simply managing a portfolio, with the chance to lead a team, build strong client relationships and play an active role in the continued growth of the firm.
The role As part of the management team, you’ll have plenty of autonomy and responsibility, including:
- Managing a varied portfolio of clients and becoming a trusted point of contact
- Leading, coaching and developing members of the team
- Overseeing and reviewing audit and accounts assignments
- Working closely with senior stakeholders across the firm
- Identifying opportunities to develop existing and new client relationships
- Maintaining high technical and client service standards
About you Ideally, you’ll be:
- ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified
- Experienced within an accountancy practice environment
- Comfortable managing both clients and people
- Confident building relationships with business owners and senior stakeholders
- Commercially minded and interested in the wider development of the firm
- Looking for a role offering genuine responsibility and progression
