We're supporting a leading defence engineering business in their search for a Field Service Engineer to join their Service team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys travel, customer interaction, and hands-on work with advanced electro-mechanical systems. You'll be responsible for installing, commissioning, servicing, and supporting specialist equipment both across the UK and internationally.
Core Duties:
- Installing, commissioning, and servicing specialist equipment
- Diagnosing and resolving electrical, electronic, and electro-mechanical faults
- Producing technical reports and service documentation
- Delivering exceptional customer support on-site
- Supporting equipment trials, testing, and training activities
- Working closely with engineering and project teams to deliver customer solutions
About You:
- HNC, HND, Degree, or equivalent in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline
- Experience in a Field Service, Maintenance, or Technical Support role
- Strong fault-finding skills across electrical, electronic, or electro-mechanical systems
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation
- Customer-focused with excellent communication skills
- Full UK Driving Licence and valid passport
- Willingness to travel extensively within the UK and overseas
