Mortgage File Checker / Compliance Administrator
*Candidates must come from a dedicated mortgage compliance background*
Our client is a highly successful mortgage brokerage specialising in providing bespoke solutions in areas of residential and commercial mortgage lending.
An opportunity has become available for a Mortgage File Checker / Compliance Administrator to support an experienced team of mortgage professionals, ensuring files are fully compliant and consumer duty is being adhered to.
This is a great opportunity to join a highly professional team and develop a career within mortgage compliance.
***The position is hybrid role, requiring one day per week in the office β must be commutable within 1.5 hours of Central London***
Responsibilities:
- You will be expected to adhere to and complete monitoring and operational tasks as set out in the Compliance Monitoring Plan.
- Assist the Compliance Manager with day to day responsibilities.
- Auditing of Adviser files for Regulated Mortgages, Non Regulated Mortgages.
- Protection and General Insurance files.
- Provide detailed feedback where appropriate.
Experience required:
- At least 12 months experience in similar mortgage quality control / mortgage compliance role.
- CeMAP qualified (Highly desirable)
- Experience in auditing and communicating back to Advisers and follow up work.
- Must have adequate knowledge of FCA regulations.
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be able to work as part of a team and individually.
- Meticulous and great attention to detail
