Mortgage & Equity Release Adviser - Home Based

Location: Home Based - Highly desired to be based in London / Home Counties

Our client is an established, award-winning mortgage brokerage looking for a qualified Mortgage Broker who is equally confident guiding a first-time buyer through their residential purchase and helping a later life client release equity from the home they've spent decades building. You will need to hold your residential (CeMAP or equivalent) and equity release qualifications (CeRER or equivalent) and have proven experience of advising on Lifetime Mortgages.

This is a home-based, self-employed role, offering a fantastic lead source and uncapped earning potential. A drawdown is available for 3-6 months whilst pipeline is building. It's a fantastic opportunity to build a business in a business.

Responsibilities:
  • Providing whole of market advice on residential mortgages - purchases, remortgages, product transfers, BTL, and everything in between.
  • Advising on equity release and lifetime mortgages, supporting later-life clients with care, clarity and complete compliance.
  • Building lasting client relationships, understanding the full picture and recommending the right solution rather than the quickest one.
  • Managing your own pipeline from first conversation through to completion.
  • Keeping everything FCA-compliant and beautifully documented.
  • Joining the wider team in London occasionally for collaboration and training.
Experience required:
  • CeMAP (or equivalent) qualified, with solid residential mortgage advising experience.
  • A recognised equity release qualification (CeRER, ER1 or equivalent) and real, hands-on experience advising on lifetime mortgages.
  • A confident, consultative communicator who builds trust quickly, especially with vulnerable and later-life clients.
  • Self-motivated and organised, the kind of person who thrives working from home without losing momentum.
  • A genuine commitment to compliance and doing right by the client, every time.
