We're recruiting on behalf of an established, London based financial services provider with a strong reputation across the UK lending market. As a Commercial Finance Adviser, you will operate on a whole of market basis and a service led, relationship driven approach, helping clients access the funding they need to grow.

This is an opportunity to build long lasting relationships, helping SME clients secure the funding they need to grow and thrive. Working across a broad range of products, including business loans, asset finance and invoice finance, you will manage clients through the full funding journey, from initial enquiry and fact-find through to drawdown.

This is a consultative, relationship led role for someone who enjoys understanding a business, identifying the right funding solution, and seeing deals through to completion, delivering the best possible outcome for clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage inbound and self-generated enquiries from SME clients seeking commercial funding
  • Conduct thorough fact-finds to understand each client's business, needs and objectives
  • Advise on and structure the most appropriate solutions across business loans, asset finance and invoice finance
  • Package and submit applications to the relevant lenders on the panel
  • Manage cases end to end — liaising with clients and lenders through to offer and drawdown
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, lenders and introducers
  • Develop new business opportunities and referral sources
  • Maintain accurate records on the CRM and ensure all activity is fully compliant with regulatory standards
  • Stay up to date with lender criteria, products and developments across the commercial finance market
Experience Required
  • Experience in commercial / business finance, across business loans, asset finance and/or invoice finance
  • Strong understanding of the SME lending landscape and a range of funding products
  • Consultative sales approach with the ability to understand client needs and structure the right solution
  • Confident managing multiple cases and relationships at once, with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communicator - able to build rapport quickly with clients, lenders and introducers
  • Self-motivated and target-driven, with a genuine appetite for finding lending solutions
  • Sound understanding of relevant compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Established lender or introducer relationships (desirable)
