Finance Broker— Commercial Real Estate
Location: London / Hybrid
Salary: Up to £80k Basic + Uncapped Commission (Negotiable – right candidate is more important)
We're looking for an experienced Debt Advisory Specialist to join a highly experienced and industry leading team of debt financing professionals. You will be focused on structuring and arranging debt solutions across commercial real estate — including senior debt, mezzanine, and structured finance across office, logistics, residential and mixed-use assets.
You'll work closely with borrowers, lenders and investors to originate, structure and execute financing solutions, managing deals from initial assessment through to completion. This is a genuine opportunity to build on an established platform, with real deal flow and direct exposure to lender and investor relationships from day one.
Responsibilities:
- Originating and structuring debt finance solutions for commercial real estate clients, across senior, mezzanine and structured finance
- Assessing deal viability — including credit risk, security appraisal, and debt serviceability — to structure proposals that align with lender appetite and client objectives
- Building and maintaining relationships with banks, debt funds, insurers and other lending institutions across the market
- Managing a live pipeline of concurrent transactions, coordinating with lenders, solicitors, valuers and clients to keep deals progressing to completion
- Structuring and presenting financing proposals to clients, advising on the right lender and terms for their specific deal
- Keeping accurate case files and documentation throughout the credit and legal process
Experience required:
- Proven experience in commercial real estate debt finance, structured finance, or real estate investment banking essential.
- Strong technical grounding in credit analysis, security appraisal, and debt structuring
- Established relationships across the lender market (banks, debt funds, insurers) are highly desirable
- Comfortable managing multiple concurrent transactions and coordinating across lenders, solicitors, valuers and clients
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills, with a consultative, client focused approach
