As a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will utilise your sound commercial knowledge and experience in the new house build construction sector as you take responsibility for the financial administration of your allocated projects from start to completion. You will be involved at every stage of the commercial process, including the compilation of budgets, procurement of sub-contractors, site valuations, cash flows, payments, monitoring and controlling variations, closure of final accounts and the compilation and monthly review of cost value reconciliations.
Key Qualifications:
- Proven recent experience as a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor within the new house build construction sector.
- Conversant with contracting and development.
- Strong communication and organisation skills.
- Diligent, with a high level of numeracy and IT literacy.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks in order to meet deadlines.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Eligibility to work in the UK (no option for sponsored employment visa at present).
Benefits & Working Hours:
As a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll receive a competitive salary, level dependent on experience, plus a wide range of benefits including car allowance or company car, life insurance, and personal health insurance. You will be employed on a permanent contract, working Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm, and 8am to 3:30pm on Fridays.
