We’re looking for a hands-on Junior Account Director or Account Director with 5+ years’ experience to join our interiors team. You’ll be proactive, curious and genuinely passionate about the interiors, design and lifestyle space, with relevant industry experience to match. A confident leader, you’ll inspire and motivate those around you while driving exceptional client results. The role is initially a fixed term contract with the opportunity for a full time position following a 12-month review.
The role:
- Client leadership & strategy
- Lead several accounts across interiors, design and property sectors, acting as a trusted advisor and main point of contact for clients
- Develop and implement integrated PR strategies that drive business outcomes (awareness, lead generation, thought leadership)
- Translate client objectives into creative, results-driven campaigns and clear plans, going beyond traditional PR
- Deliver and lead on strategic client events from conception to completion, mentoring and supporting the wider team
- New business
- Identify and pursue new client opportunities
- Lead new business pitches, presentations and proposals
- Team leadership
- Mentor and manage a team ranging from Account Executives to Account Managers
- Set team direction, review work and support professional development
- Foster a collaborative and creative culture
- Media relations & coverage
- Build and nurture strong relationships with editors, journalists and influencers across interiors, design and property
- Support team members on achieving coverage and looking for new opportunities
- Secure features, interviews and product placements that move the commercial needle
- Writing & creative
- Oversee and elevate all written outputs, from creative briefs and press materials to pitch decks
- Use insight and results to drive smarter, bolder creative thinking
- Develop regular, proactive creative ideas for accounts
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience at Senior Account Manager level with 5+ years of experience in the interiors, property and/or lifestyle sectors, ready to take the next step in their career
- Agency and/or in-house experience
- A confident leader who is able to advise clients, manage and motivate teams
- Deep understanding of the interiors and design industry
- Strong relationships with key press and editors
- Work with high-profile and culturally relevant brands
- Be part of a creative, collaborative and entrepreneurial team
- Genuine opportunity to progress as the agency continues to scale
This is a hybrid role, with 2+ days per week based in our central London office.
