The Opportunity
Pure is a fast-growing UK pet food brand with proven field operations and an established Benelux market. Newcastle is our next big growth bet and the patch is yours to build. Recruit the team. Run the activations. Sell from the front. Turn Newcastle into one of Pure's flagship regions. Real autonomy, real numbers, and a P&L-style outcome you can point to for the rest of your career.
The Basics
- Must live within 1 hour of Newcastle
- Must own a vehicle suitable for regional travel
- Most weekends required during the build phase (TOIL applied)
- Full-time, permanent, field-based
If any of those don't work, the rest of the ad won't either.
The Role
You own commercial performance across Newcastle revenue, conversion, growth. That means:
- Recruiting and building the regional team of Brand Ambassadors from scratch
- Coaching in the field lifting individual conversion week on week, holding the bar on what good looks like
- Personally selling at activations and setting the standard your team works to
- Planning and running the regional events calendar end-to-end: venues, logistics, set-up, on-site leadership
- Tracking KPIs, spotting gaps, reallocating effort, and reporting performance up
- Feeding market insight back into central leadership to shape strategy
Early on, this is hands-on you'll be setting up stands and selling product alongside your team. As the region matures, the role shifts toward leadership and scale.
Who Wins Here
The four traits we hire for at Pure, and what they look like in this role:
- Ahead of the Pack — you've built or led something independently (a team, a patch, a venture, a side hustle) and have the numbers to prove it
- Best in Show — you're a top biller or proven team lead, used to being at or near the top of the board, with a strong work ethic and zero interest in coasting
- New Tricks — you read data fluently and use it to redirect effort, not just to write reports
- Paws & People First — you lead honestly, look after your team, and put customers at the centre of every decision
Bonus points for a start-up or scale-up background, a top level sporting background, or a strong academic record.
The Package
- Top-tier equipment, mobile and company card
- Flexible time off around weekend commitments (TOIL)
- Fast-track progression as Pure scales
- Free food for your dog
