A prestigious London law firm is looking for a Senior/Managing Associate to join its highly regarded Real Estate Finance team. The firm’s specialist finance team advises on structuring secure and strategic financing for both lenders and borrowers, working with major banks and leading property lenders on senior and mezzanine deals. With a strong Real Estate Finance practice, the firm supports high-profile property investors and developers, while also engaging with emerging real estate funders and embracing new technologies in an evolving banking market.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Advise lenders and borrowers on a range of finance transactions, with a primary focus on real estate finance, while also handling corporate, art, and sports financing.
- Draft, negotiate, and coordinate finance documents with precision.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, ensuring timely progression of client matters, regular communication on progress and costs, and strict confidentiality of all client information.
- Cultivate strong client relationships and industry connections, playing a key role in expanding the team's market presence.
- Actively contribute to the success of both the team and the wider firm by collaborating on strategic initiatives and knowledge sharing.
- Ensure efficient time recording and meet agreed billing targets to support the firm’s financial and operational goals.
Skills & Required Experience:
- 4-6 years’ PQE in real estate finance or banking and finance, with strong technical knowledge, analytical skills, and a commercial mindset.
