We are looking for a responsible Project Support Officer. The post holder will be essential in providing high quality project support to the Project Managers carrying out a variety of tasks including but not limited to the following: Setting up Contracts on our in-house system Updating spreadsheets with relevant information Update customer invoices/applications Reporting client profitability to Project Managers Checking sub-contractor hours on system Scheduling sub-contractors to contracts Processing sub-contractor invoices Updating purchase orders for Project Managers Sub-contractor matrix control Checking hire reports Off-hiring equipment Attending weekly meetings Organising expenses for Project Managers Updating our accounting system with customer and supplier information Booking travel arrangements Minimal support to Admin during peak periods and holiday cover Examples of Systems Used (training provided) Outlook Sage Excel Word Construction Manager About You Maths Level 6 or above (Grade B) Experience or working knowledge of office equipment Proficiency with MS Office Applications Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work Attention to detail and problem solving skills Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task Good team working and inter-personal skills About the Role • 40 hours per week – flexible working hours available • Training and Progression available with opportunities to grow and develop your own path The company specialises in manufacturing and construction and is expanding into new markets.
