Pay Rate: £130–£230 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities)

Overview:
Education Personnel are delighted to be working in partnership with a progressive and well-respected secondary school in Derby to recruit a dedicated Art Teacher for a full-time position starting September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled educator to contribute to a thriving department and support students at KS4 and potentially KS5.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver the KS4 Art & Design curriculum, with KS5 teaching available if experienced
* Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with department policy
* Monitor student progress and implement appropriate interventions
* Contribute to department improvement planning
* Attend staff meetings, CPD, and parents’ evenings as required
The Ideal Candidate:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Has at least 6 months of classroom teaching experience in a UK secondary setting
* Is passionate about Business education and student achievement
* Has excellent behaviour management and communication skills
* Demonstrates a collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to school life
