At Pure Insight, we support young people aged 16–28 leaving care to develop independence, confidence and a sense of belonging.
We work alongside young people to help them thrive in employment, education and their communities.
We're looking for a passionate and motivated Employment Coach to join our team in Stockport.
About the role
You’ll work one-to-one with care-experienced young people, helping them overcome barriers and move into employment, education, training or volunteering.
You’ll also build relationships with local employers, create opportunities and provide ongoing support to help young people succeed in the workplace.
This is a varied, rewarding role where you’ll have the opportunity to make a genuine difference every day.
We’re looking for someone who
- Has experience supporting vulnerable or disengaged young people (minimum two years).
- Can build positive relationships with young people, employers and partner organisations.
- Is confident supporting people into employment, education or training.
- Is organised, resilient and able to manage a varied caseload.
- Has excellent communication and IT skills.
- Understands safeguarding and the challenges faced by care-experienced young people.
- Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to a car for work.
- Experience working with care leavers, knowledge of the benefits system or CRM systems would be an advantage but isn’t essential.
