They are now seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Scheduler to join their Operations team. This is a key role ensuring engineers are efficiently deployed, service standards are met, and customers receive a seamless experience.

Senior Scheduler, the role:

  • Lead workforce scheduling and planning to ensure efficient use of engineer resources and adherence to SLAs
  • Act as the main point of contact for scheduling queries, managing all daily coordination and incoming calls
  • Issue and close maintenance and installation calls accurately, validating all engineer reports
  • Analyse workload data, forecast demand, and implement proactive scheduling solutions to enhance performance
  • Liaise with Operations, clients, and field teams to resolve issues and manage competing priorities
  • Produce performance reports and track key operational KPIs
  • Support the transition to a new job management system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Identify potential cross-selling or upselling opportunities during client interactions
  • Manage and reduce return visits through proactive collaboration with other departments

Senior Scheduler, the person:

  • Previous experience in scheduling, workforce coordination, or service operations (ideally within fire and security or a similar field service environment)
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities under pressure
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, confident liaising with engineers and clients
  • Analytical mindset with experience using scheduling or job management software
  • Proactive and solutions-focused approach, with strong attention to detail
  • Team player with a commitment to service quality and operational excellence
